Alana, a 22-year-old singer from Florida, performed Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows” for the Showstopper round. Her energetic performance Monday night pushed her through to the top 24.

Anilee List

Anilee List, a 20-year-old college student from Los Angeles, brought a dynamic performance of RufusandChaka Khan’s“Ain’t Nobody” to the stage for the Showstopper round. On Monday night, List made it to the top 24.

Alanis Sophia

Alyssa Wray

Alyssa Wray, an 18-year-old singer from the small town of Perryville, Kentucky, — a town of 750 — made it through. Wray has been a standout contestant on this season since the judges called her a “once-in-a-generation” kind of singer during her audition.

Andrea Valles

For the Showstopper round, Andrea Valles performed The Weeknd’s hit song “Blinding Lights.” “American Idol” judge Katy Perry said it was the wrong song choice, but the 23-year-old singer —who grew up in Salt Lake City and lives in Houston — ended up advancing.

Ava August

At 15, Ava August is one of the younger singers in the “American Idol” competition this season. For the Showstopper round, the high school student from California said she decided to take a risk and perform an original song called “Ghost of You” that simply featured her on the guitar rather than a full band.

Although Perry said she didn’t think the song was “all there,” she did say it was was one of August’s stronger moments in the competition, and welcomed her to the top 24.

During Beane’s audition for “American Idol,” the judges spent the majority of the time wondering if the 23-year-old singer from Boston’s theatrical voice was suited for the “American Idol” stage. Since then, though, Beane has continued advancing in the competition and will now be in the top 24.

Caleb Kennedy

Country singer Caleb Kennedy performed an original song for his Showstopper performance — a decision that came as a surprise to the “Idol” judges.

“We heard that you were going to play a different song,” Perry told the 16-year-old from South Carolina.

“I did plan to do a big old show like everybody else did, and then one of them gut feelings came along to just do an original,” Kennedy said. “So I took it and I ran with it.”

That choice ended up benefiting Kennedy, who made it to the top 24.

Casey Bishop

Cassandra Coleman

Cassandra Coleman has impressed the judges from the start — “You are a new voice that the world has never heard,” Bryan told the 24-year-old singer from Tennessee during her audition.

Coleman will continue on in the “American Idol” competition as part of the top 24.

Cecil Ray

For his Showstopper round, Cecil Ray performed Leon Bridges’ “Beyond.” Ray, a 20-year-old singer from Texas, was the final singer to make it into the top 24 Monday night. During the episode, the singer said he auditioned for “American Idol” to show his daughter that dreams are always in reach.

Chayce Beckham

The “American Idol” judges have been a fan of Chayce Beckham since the very first note of his audition.

“Your first note had me,” Bryan told the 24-year-old singer from Apple Valley, California, during his audition. “You’re what this show’s all about.”

During that audition, Perry added that Beckham was a “top 5” contestant. After Sunday night’s Showstopper round, the singer is now a step closer to making that prediction come true as he has advanced to the top 24.

Colin Jamieson

Before “American Idol,” Colin Jamieson was in a New England boy band. Now, the 22-year-old artist, who is a wedding singer, is trying to make it on “American Idol.” After performing Fall Out Boy’s ‘Sugar, We’re Goin Down” for the Showstopper round Monday night, the singer from Massachusetts made it to the top 24.

Deshawn Goncalves

The 19-year-old singer from Ohio made it to the top 24 with a performance of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow.”

Grace Kinstler

Grace Kinstler said she had started second-guessing her song choice for the Showstopper round, but the performance ended up working in her favor. The 20-year-old singer from Chicago gave an emotional performance of “Father” by Demi Lovato, and dedicated it to her own father, who died last year.

Kinstler, who is a student at the Berklee College of Music, made it to the top 24. She said she believed her dad would be proud of her performance and the fact that she took the big risk to go on “American Idol” in the first place.

Graham DeFranco

As a pilot, being on “American Idol” is a step in a new direction for 27-year-old Graham DeFranco. The singer from Texas performed a Kings of Leon song for his Showstopper round and got a yes from the judges to continue his “American Idol” journey.

Hannah Everhart

One of the younger singers in the competition this season, Hannah Everhart has moved on to the top 24. The 17-year-old singer from Mississippi performed Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” for her Showstopper round Sunday night.

Hunter Metts

The 22-year-old singer from Tennessee made it through to the top 24.

Jason Warrior

During Sunday night’s Showstopper round, Jason Warrior got a standing ovation from the “Idol” judges for his performance of Imagine Dragons’ “Believer.” The 25-year-old singer from Chicago — who has previously competed on “The Voice” and the short-lived competition “The Four” — has advanced to the top 24 of “American Idol.”

Liahona Olayan

After her brother got eliminated during the first part of Hollywood Week, Liahona Olayan struggled to make it through the rest of the round — to the point that Katy Perry scolded her for acting defeated and not giving it her all.

“What Katy said last round just made me more determined to remind her why she chose me in the first place,” Olayan said before the Showstopper round. Olayan, who lives in Vineyard, Utah, performed Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too” for her performance Monday night.

“There it is!” Katy Perry screamed after the performance.

The 17-year-old singer ended up making it through to the top 24.

Madison Watkins

The 25-year-old singer from Arkansas performed James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” for her Showstopper round. Watkins’ performance wowed all of the judges, and she ultimately received the news from Lionel Richie that she would be advancing to the top 24.

Mary Jo Young

As the “American Idol” competition has progressed, 19-year-old singer Mary Jo Young said her nerves have been improving with each round. Before her performance Monday night, the singer from Cleveland said she believed she could be in the top 24. That belief is now a reality.

Willie Spence

The 21-year-old singer from Georgia made it through to the top 24 Monday night after performing Beyonce’s “I Was Here” — a song he said was one of the more challenging pieces he’s ever performed.

Wyatt Pike

Although he has a passion for music, Wyatt Pike almost didn’t pursue a music career. But just a few days before he was supposed to start business school, Pike ended up dropping out and taking a gap year to try to make it as a singer-songwriter. Now, the 20-year-old singer from Park City, Utah, has made it to the top 24 of “American Idol.”
