Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy – An Average Teenager Gets Summoned as a Hero in Another World
Meet Makoto Misumi, a typical high school student leading an ordinary life.
However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself mysteriously summoned to another world as a hero.
Unfortunately, instead of a warm welcome, the goddess of this realm berates him for being different and abruptly strips him of his hero title.
With no choice but to feed for himself, he is banished to the untamed wilderness that lies at the edge of this new realm.
In this uncharted territory, Makoto has thrilling encounters with dragons, orcs, dwarves, spiders, and an array of non-human tribes.
What sets him apart, however, is his unique background, which lets him access unparalleled magical powers.
Armed with his newfound powers and strength, he grapples with the challenge of coexisting with diverse species and adapting to his unfamiliar environment.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy was announced back in September 2021, and it is finally set to release in January 2024. However, the next season's specific release date is yet to be announced.

The Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy anime is based on a light novel written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto.
The light novel also received a manga adaptation of the same name with illustrations by Kotora Kino.

The episode count of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 is not yet revealed.
But it has been confirmed that the second season will air for two cours starting January 2024.

Anime studio J.C.Staff has been tapped to animate Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2.
J.C.Staff has taken over the reins from C2C, which animated the first season of the series.
J.C.Staff is a long-running studio established in 1986. The studio has produced hit anime titles like One-Punch Man, Food Wars, Prison School, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and many more.
